1. Introduction
This Data Deletion Policy explains how users of the MitraVeda Marketing App can request deletion of their personal data and accounts. We respect your right to privacy and provide multiple options for data deletion.
2. What Data Can Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be removed:
2.1 Immediately Deletable Data
- Profile information (name, email)
- Account settings and preferences
- Marketing performance metrics
- App usage history
- Session data and tokens
- Marketing materials and content you created
2.2 Data Retained for Legal Compliance
Some data must be retained for legal and regulatory compliance:
- Financial Records (7 years): Commission payment history, transaction records
- Tax Documents (7 years): Payment records required for tax reporting
- Fraud Prevention (varies): Information related to fraud investigations or disputes
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You have three options to request deletion of your account and data:
3.1 In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the MitraVeda Marketing App
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Account Settings
- Tap on Delete My Account
- Review the deletion consequences
- Confirm deletion by entering your password
- You will receive a confirmation email
3.2 Email Request
Send an email to: marketing@mitraveda.com
Include:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your full name
- Reason for deletion (optional)
3.3 Written Request
Mail your request to:

4. Verification Process
To protect your account security, we verify all deletion requests:

Pending Transactions: If you have pending commissions or payments, we will:
- Process outstanding payments before deletion
- Request confirmation that you want to forfeit pending amounts
- Complete any active payment cycles

5. Deletion Timeline
5.1 Immediate Actions (Within 24 hours)
- Your account is deactivated
- You cannot log in to the app
- Your referral codes are disabled
- No new data is collected
5.2 Personal Data Deletion (Within 30 days)
- Profile information deleted
- Marketing content deleted
- Usage history removed
- Session data cleared
- Third-party data processors notified
5.3 Legal Retention (7 years)
- Financial transaction records
- Commission payment history
- Tax-related documents
- Records required by law
6. Consequences of Deletion
Before you request deletion, please understand:
6.1 Immediate Effects
- ✗ You lose access to the Marketing App
- ✗ All referral codes are permanently deactivated
- ✗ You cannot track your marketing performance
- ✗ Access to your dashboard is revoked
6.2 Financial Implications
- ✓ Earned commissions above minimum threshold will be paid
- ✗ Pending commissions below minimum threshold may be forfeited
- ✗ Future referrals from your old codes will not be credited
- ✓ Historical payment records retained for tax compliance
6.3 Irreversibility
- ✗ Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- ✗ You cannot recover your referral codes
- ✗ Performance history cannot be restored
- ✓ You can create a new account (subject to verification)
7. Data Shared with Third Parties
7.1 Firebase / Google Cloud
We will request deletion of your data from:
- Firebase Authentication records
- Cloud Firestore documents
- Firebase Storage files
Note: Google may retain some data for their own compliance purposes per their privacy policy.
7.2 Payment Processors
Financial institutions may retain transaction records for:
- Regulatory compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
7.3 Analytics Services
Anonymized usage data may remain in analytics systems but cannot be linked back to you.
8. Children's Data
If a parent or guardian requests deletion of a child's data (users under 18), we will:
- Immediately suspend the account
- Delete all personal information within 24 hours
- Notify relevant authorities if required
- Investigate how the account was created
Note: The Marketing App is 18+ only. Children should not have accounts.
9. Your Rights
9.1 Right to Data Portability (Before Deletion)
Before deleting your account, you can:

- Download commission history

9.2 Right to Rectification
Before deletion, you can correct inaccurate data:

9.3 Right to Restriction
Instead of deletion, you can request:
- Account suspension (temporary)
- Restriction of data processing
- Opt-out of marketing communications
10. Partial Deletion Options
If you don't want full account deletion, you can request:
10.1 Marketing Data Only
- Delete marketing performance metrics
- Keep your account active
- Stop tracking referrals
10.2 Communications Only
- Unsubscribe from all emails
- Disable push notifications
- Keep your account for future use
10.3 Financial Data (Limited)
- Bank details can be removed after final payment
- Historical payment records must be retained for 7 years
11. Reactivation Policy
11.1 Within Grace Period (7 days)
- Cancel your deletion request
- Account reactivated immediately
- All data restored
11.2 After Grace Period (7-30 days)

- May be possible if data not yet deleted

11.3 After 30 Days
- Account deletion is final
- Data cannot be recovered
